Began working in a garment factory and then started working in the railways as a clerk in the head office of northen railways at Baroda House, Delhi. Led a big struggle of workers in Baroda House for a worker, who was victimised for not wearing office clothes. Also led struggles for bonus and minimum wages for the railway employees.en_US
